I've tried everything short of tying the down pipe to a tree and flooring it. They will not come apart. Both flanges are so rusted I'm thinking of just cutting both flanges (down pipe and cat) off and welding a new flange on. I don't see why it would be but is this a bad idea?

I couldn't find a roof rack because of the curved nature of a puma, so I went the hard route and got myself a tow bar for the puma :grin: only for bikes and the like, not a hope of towing anything in a puma.

Fm transmitters are not all bad. I picked up a cheap enough one on Ebay last summer. Wire one of these on ignition directly to cigarette lighter and leave it in the glove box. fm transmitter into extension in glove box; then run aux cable inside the dash and out through the center pocket...

To make a long story short, I had my driver's side window smashed in while I could see the car :-( Can someone advise me of how to remove the door cards? I had a look with the search function but couldn't find it. Maybe I'm an idiot. Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Reviving an old post to update; In the end I did not need to use the longer studs, but I used an older puma nut, as the lattice cossie's nuts didn't fit. Having now been powder-coated and sprayed Black Pearl: Overall I am very pleased :grin:
