Hi folks, bit of an update... hope it will help others. EASY FIX!! On the bottom of the throttle body there are 4 points to attach vaccum hoses onto, one to fuel pressure regulator, one to brake servo, didnt see where the other pipe went, and a 'blank'... guess its used if you have a different...

A bit more info, when the car is first started in the morning, it wil idle fine for the first few mins. Revs are at about 1200 rpm at this point as its on cold start. as soon as it comes off cold start/choke, the idle goes bad again. Is there some sort of sensor that the car doesnt read until...

hi, thanks hotrod, i've already (visually) checked that plug and looks in good condition, gave it a wiggle but made no difference. will check breathers at the weekend. might give it an oil change anyway. it really has got me stumped.

Update, just been out and filled both locks with WD40 (even though they seemed fine) and gave them a bit of working with the key... the double lock feature is now working correctly (turn key back then lock) - tested it abot 50 times, all good, guess the 28" of snow that was on the car for a week...

as above, i've checked the wiring to the pas pressure switch and seems fine didnt know there was a clutch switch!? what is that in aid of? lol, crazy electronics... will check tomorrow morning (too dark now)

aww, fluffy bobble hat on top of everyones knob would be cool, group picture? lmao well cleaned idle control valve with half a big tin of carb cleaner and some cotton buds, got plenty gunk out.... but still idles all over :( on thing i dont understand is with the clutch pedal: in neutral...

Hi, Well I cleaned MAF and inlet butterfly, but still not idling well, power steering pressure sensor wiring seems fine so idle control valve coming off tonight :D Will look into best options for remote central locking. one other thing, the metal gearknob is bloody cold on a morning! Lmao!
