I think its a fair price. It's not perfect but it's pretty tidy and has been 100% reliable over the last 12 months and 18,000 miles. With a bit of TLC it could be a really nice car.

I've been using my '97 1.7 (with 95k) for an 80 mile daily commute for nearly a year now. Never missed a beat and it still shows much newer, supposedly faster cars, a clean pair of heels on the M3!

Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Also, not sure if it's electrical or mechanical so posting it here! After 15k miles of trouble free motoring my ABS and traction control lights have come on and won't go off. Any ideas?

My little '97 just continues to amaze me! My bargain £600 Puma has just gone straight through it's first MOT with me (and yes, it has got after-market HID's). Just needed the handbrake tightening. That's nearly 15k I've done now in the last 8 months with no problems and it's still bombing me 80...

I guess so but combined with a high revving V6 the induction noise was very addictive. As a result the MPG never got much over 20 in that beast!

I work in Basingstoke, well Chineham, but I don't drive it every day. I kind of alternate with the V70 but if you see a tidy looking Moondust '97 on prop's in the rush hour it could be me!
