Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Also, not sure if it's electrical or mechanical so posting it here! After 15k miles of trouble free motoring my ABS and traction control lights have come on and won't go off. Any ideas?

I'm trying to remove the dash (clocks only) to sort out a loose connection and having followed the instructions on one of the threads on here I'm having issues. It's a '97 so it has a mechanical speedo cable and this is preventing me from removing the dash unit. How do I go about disconnecting it?
