Electric Seat

The electric height adjuster on my 1.7 does not appear to be functioning. Something's happening as it makes a clunk but doesn't move either way. Is this a terminal issue or is there a 'forum fix' for this one? :?:

A clunk?! Surely that means it's a mechanical problem... Broken cog maybe? Can't you take it apart?
