1.7 not performing well

Hi. Happy to join the group. My 1.7 from 98 can only rev 5300 Max then it stops. Should rev 6800 right? Whats wrong? I changed timing belt and water pump. Its acc ok, starting fine and running smoothly. Preben, DK.

Is throttle cable moving freely?

1) Are both the fuel filter & air Filter recent?
2) Are the Spark plugs and spark plug leads ok?
