Hi all, we've decided to go down to just the one car to aid with the cost
of living. Before going the Autotrader route I thought I'd pop it on here
first!
2001 W (facelift) Moondust Silver metallic 1.7 VCT Lux, 70000 Miles, 3
previous lady owners, 10 Months MOT with no advisory notices, Taxed until
end of December 2012. FSH and most receipts from new (All receipts for last
year)
Heated Screen & Air Con, electric/heated mirrors, central remote
deadlocking, CD Player, ABS, Traction Control. TWIN air bags.
Mint interior, very slight arch bubbling as usual at rear.
Owned for a year, spent over £1500 on it including new clutch/slave
cylinder/precationary flywheel re-skim, new front suspension, Powerflex
poly rear bushes, Ford front top mounts, major service, replacement airbag
control module, heater control valve & battery.
Just before I bought it, it had new front tyres and a cat back exhaust.
Drives extremely well, first to test drive & view will definately buy. I
have owned a few of these and it's the best condition I've had!
Averages 37MPG in general conditions.
All that would be required in long term would be cam & alternator belt
replacements, plus arch re-painting.
The only known fault is that the door locks require new microswitches
fitting to allow the interior light / lights on alarm to function
correctly. These are currently sat in the glove box!
On my private plate at the minute, this is NOT included in the sale.
