not going down the 300mm brakes route again with this one as i wasnt standard wheels (ish) and trying to reduce weight abit-especially unsprung.
the 300mm brake setup including discs and pads weighs 26kg!!!
+ the extra weight of having the bigger wheels so all in allhas got to have some sort of negative effect so im tring to source a set of 280's.
im not interested in the st150's due to st tax and id rather not use the brakes off a v6 as iirc they're the same as the si and ghia and so liable to the same sort of taxation :/
question is: what needs spacing? is it the disc from the hub as the offset of the disc isnt right for a puma or the wheel from the disc for caliper clearance?
and with a 3mm spacer in will i need some longer studs?
thanks for the help :)

3mm spacer will be ok and afaik its the disc to the hub that needs spacing

well that makes it the exact same fitment as my mates mk1 focus but then how come 300mm mondeo brakes dont fit a focus?
or do they?
