Airbag light won't come on

So I've just put on my lovely new steering wheel, and now I've noticed the airbag light doesn't come on. that said, I can't tell you whether it came on before or not!

Even if I disconnect the pre-tensioner and turn the ignition on, no light. Any ideas? It can't be the bulb or can it? Weird coincidence?

It must have worked at the last MOT but I think it's a fail these days if the light doesn't come on and go off as it should

Well, despite the light not coming on so really you'd not know any difference, it was doing my head in.

I swapped the cluster over for another one I had and hey presto, it works again. Weird. Just weird to break at the exact same time I changed the wheel!!
