"airbagless" wheel airbag light

I'd like to fit my OMP steering wheel to my Puma. Is there an easy way to trick the airbag warning light to think that there's an airbag? I heard that there is a resistor to turn it off in some boss kits, but do they actually work? If so I'd appreciate a link to a boss kit that has one. I didn't find many from ebay :|

if you have a multimeter could you not test the resistance of the air bag and buy a resistor the same size as the air bag and retro fit it ?

Yes. The MOT will fail if it isn't fitted.

If it's that simple then that's probably the way to go, but it would be easier if the resistor was included in the boss kit because I don't have one yet. :roll:

mine doesnt have an airbag wheel and passes mot every year...took the bulb out!!!
