Thought you might all appreciate how much better my car looks with the instantly fitted lowering kit that I bought in Northern France over the weekend.

Here it is just after the kit was fitted

And here you can see the kit itself. No mechanics were needed to fit the modification. Mrs P and I did it between us in about an hour and a half on Sunday morning using nothing more complicated than a wonky trolley or two and a Post Office credit card.

Not so good a trip I fear.

Voila Madame P standing in front of the area normally packed with Broadside. Apparently there is some issue with not having the correct EU mark on the label. No Adnams to be had any longer.

The 24 pack of Abbot was a poor substitute
