I've just turned 21 so still a bit young for the 1.7. Insurance was £550 fully comp. I've got 3 years no claims on my 1.4 Fiesta so it wasn't much different.

I would have thought 1.7 insurance would be pretty decent at 21, but depends how much you're wiling to pay for insurance.
 
Vortex was 21 when he bought FRP 165 and the insurance wasn't bad at all with 4 years NCB

Not a bad car for a 21 year old! Yeh , very much depends on individual things too like the area etc obviously.
 
ahhh man!!! Why didn't anyone tell me that before!!! lol
My mate got a racing Puma when he was 22. Insurance 4 him was over a grand!!! He used 2 be on here, thats how i found out about u all :-D
