Bonnet Won't Open

As per topic title. Doesn't affect the driving but I want to check the oil and refill the screenwash. Can do neither. Have jiggled around with the thingy with a screwdriver (you know what I mean!) but to no avail. The locking mechanism can't be buggered because it closes perfectly well.

Any ideas?

Try pushing the bonnet down very slightly before lifting up the bonnet release lever. If that doesn't work, it sounds like said lever may be broke, possibly at the pivot point, so not levering....if you know what I mean...lol

if you cant manage to wiggle it open then take it to the garage and when its on the ramps they can sometimes manuver a large screwdriver up behind it but thinking about it think the front bumper stops them from doing that.

My car does this every now and again. It just doesnt want to come unhooked from the latch. I just get my fingers in there and try and push the patch over. Failing that, i push the bonnet down again so it locks and then try again.
