Boot open switch (interior)

I connected the boot open to my aftermarket remote control,and noo need to pull cable all the way to the boot,all you need is to connect it to the boot release relay in the fuse box,it is the one that is hooked on the side of the fuse box!!! And not a good idea to connect it to stereo power,you have all you need at the relay! and all you need is about 1m of wire and a extra relay ( if you want to be able to open when car is running)

Am i right in thinking i can run a power wire from my 12v subwoofer in my boot to the switch? And join another wire to the black/orange boot solenoid?
