As above, what is the reason for such the expense?
You can get 2 sq mtrs of cf for that price.

Would be nice for a show car, but its an expensive item.... Seems very expensive in fact, I can get the C/F spark plug and inlet manifold cover for my Civic Type R for less than that 1 item.

I would be expecting pre-preg carbon at that cost. Even then the pre-preg in such a cover is probably only about £40 in materials per one, less if hes a massive buying power to buy the raw materials in bulk. Then business overheads and labour on top.

The expensive bit is the mould, not in material cost but time. The small letters would have to go, you wouldnt get the fabric to sit in them even under vacuum, so theyd just be letters full of resin. Fine if you paint them i guess but otherwise would look a bit naff up close.
