The Shackleton preservation trust invites you to a summers day full of wonderful vehicles ranging from classic military to modern day sports cars supported by a wide range of aircraft flying in from all over the country to our base at Coventry airport.

To show off your car there is no entrance fee, however we ask for a donation

Fixed wing & rotary pleasure flights will be available on the day (Subject to availability & servicability) as well as seats on board the Shackleton for a taxi run or engine run

General admission Adults £5, Children £3, Family ticket £15

All proceeds go towards funding of the restoration to flight of Avro Shackleton WR963

Dakota House, Coventry Airport West, Coventry, Baginton CV8 3AZ

Had a lot of interest over the last few weeks with visitors ranging from US army trucks to a Ferrari Dino and getting the word out to various aircraft owners too

Make sure you're there

Can you just turn up on the day to show your car? Or arrive before 9am or something?

Yep, no prior booking is needed, I'd recommend arriving together if you're having a few of you as a stand, as we'll be 'liveside' on the airport marshalling cars will be difficult if you all arrive randomly

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Trust, the Wings and Wheels day on the 24th of this month has regretfully had to cancelled. We fully understand that this will dissapoint and inconvienience some and we do appologise for that, our members did everything possible to make it work but it wasnt to be. Rest assured that we are working as we speak on a replacement event for later in the year, we do hope that you will all be able to give us your support in this, more details on this as we have them
Once again please accept the appologies of the Trust, Thank you
