Echo-ey Noise At 80mph

...happens when I hit 80mph or just past (yeah yeah yeah to all you legal eagles!)

And then, at just after 85mph, it stops. It returns though, when I drop back down through 85, 84, 83 etc, too...
.
No idea what it is.

Everything else is fine. No shakes through the steering wheel or gearstick

Might just be the natural resonance of the exhaust. Happened to me in a mondeo i had once - 67mph everytime.

Try accelerating hard in 4th through that speed and see if it does it. As well as steady in 4th just to see.

Or that wheel bearing?

My old Fez used to do that too. It was fine as long as you stuck to 90 :roll:

MY first guess would be wheel balence might solve it. Or could be flat spot on tyre maybe? I would imagine there would be be some vibration though, and you said theres none.....
