I get the comments regarding that the visually impaired may be put more at risk if they can't hear vehicles approaching.

Should be allowed to pick from a list of sounds, like your mobile phone rings. Think what you could do with your own downloads, perhaps a 12 cylinder Ferrari, or Spitfire V-12 piston engine?

I heard than Hans Zimmer (composer of Caribbean Pirates, Gladiator, ...) was working with BMW to "compose" the sound of their electric cars.
