electrical problems

my speedo and dials all keep leaping to full then back nothing, then normal.....happening more. had new battery so not that...also brake warnigs keep lighting but had new brakes also few months ago...not that.......all work done by reputable workshop
now tonight driving back in country my full beam kept going bright less bright etc then suddenly not work this been ongoing for a year now but getting worse...anyone with any help gratefully appreciated thanks

Hi

The dials going to max and back is usualy the result of a bad earth conection.

i would start by cecking all the earth conections to the battery, and engine.

Problem sorted by Performance Puma..many thanks...was alternator giving out erratic overcharge..new alternator..all good now :grin:
