I am currently designing myself a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold for a 1.6, and just wondered if anyone knew the diameter of the exhaust ports and the offset of the ports?

Cheers

Joe

One thing I'll say is for the money you'll spend buy the bits and time it'll take, buy one that's already made, don't get me wrong I loved making mine and am properly impressed with how it looks but it's an awe full lot easier and cheaper to buy one "off the shelf"

I work for an engineering company and have been given materials at cost price and free use of the machinery, so I cost it at £60 with loads of satisfaction when its complete.

Plus getting to CFD it at work too.

good luck making it,
it's really satisfying when your done,
i made headers for a rover V8 conversion in an old mgbgt recently,
it was real fun,
make sure you post some pics when ya done,
