hey guys just bought a 1984 1.6 xr3i cabroilet, rs kit on it i paid £100 for it , got a bit of a injection issue(old school mechanical injection), the car will not fire up there is fuel to the injector unit but not spraying out of the injector, a few pipes are missing from the injector unit itself, is the system vacum operated?

ive replaced the fuel pump and ive got a second hand injector unit but none of these seem to be the problem

Have you tried asking on the XR Owners Club forums? I've seen some absolute heaps brought back to life by people on there, so if there's anyone who knows, it'll be the guys there. k:
