Got a problem :(

I haven't been on here for awhile but thought this is the best place to sort out a problem so this morning when the engine was cold I started it and it rev and stayed at 3000rpm then this afternoon it struggles to start then when it does, it's not idling right any suggestions??

Here's a list of common causes for idle problems in Zetec engines, not Puma-specific but most of the same rules apply:

Usual suspects: MAF, ICV, TPS, PAS pressure switch connection, vacuum leak.
