If you look at the back of the engine bay, there are two water pipes, follow them and they will lead you to the HCV

I have yet to buy new HCV and fit it yet, it is still running on the bodge-fix, but will want to get it done properly before the weather chills down.
 
nice one thanks for the replys followed the guide its now fitted and blasting hot air in my face!!! can only be a good sign and another thing is it me or is the plastic ford uses the WORSE plastic ever when i finally took the tubes off all the plastic was smashed!!!

Yes, it is a fairly cheap plastic..... but all cars are made to a budget.

Those connectors/pipes (which is what failed, deteriorated on mine) go through a fair old temperature range and are probably 9 or 10 years old at least, so its not a bad duration really.
