i am turboing my puma and pumanoob has give me a list of parts i need but i am not 100% sure what this is (oil pressure switch adaptor)

Like this, but make sure you get one that fits a Puma:

Remove Ford oil pressure switch and screw in adaptor. Ford oil pressure switch screws into end of adaptor and after market sender screws in the other hole.

Do you need one of these for simply fitting the gauge as well?

I wouldn't have thought so if you are replacing the pressure switch with the gauge.
However, for the price of the adaptor, I would keep the pressure switch/warning light as well.

Thats what i think im after- to run the light and the gauge from it- cheers Yoda
