I’ve been in contact with Hi-Spec to see about a possibility of a group buy of brake components. At the moment if anyone as an individual ordered a set of Bells and Rotors you would be looking at a 2-month completion time for them to machine the parts.

However if we get enough interest we can get enough interest the more we buy the cheaper the price.

Prices for the parts are as follows (Exclusive of VAT) without any discounts:

Bells = £90.00
Rotors = £60.00 (+£25 for grooved)
Bolt Pack = £5.00
Small Pistons = £12.00
Big Pistons = £12.00

2 Bells and 2 Rotors are need for the car.
1 Bolt kit is enough for 2 Bells and 2 Rotors.
2 Small and 2 Big Pistons are needed per Caliper.

So for a set of Rotors would cost as follows: (2 Rotors)

Rotors Plain = £120.00 + VAT @ 20% = £144.00
Rotors Grooved = £170.00 = VAT @ 20% = £204.00

So for a set of pistons would cost as follows: (4 Small and 4 Big Pistons)

Piston Set = £96.00 + VAT @ 20% = £115.20

So for a set of Rotor/Bells would cost as follows: (2 Bells, 2 Rotors and 1 Bolt Pack)

Rotor/Bell Plain = £315.00 + VAT @ 20% = £378.00
Rotor/Bell Grooved = £365.00 + VAT @ 20% = £438.00

So for a complete package would cost as follows: (2 Bells, 2 Rotors and 1 Bolt Pack + 4 Small and 4 Big Pistons)

Rotor/bell Plain + Pistons = £411.00 + VAT @ 20% = £526.20
Rotor/Bell Grooved + Pistons = £461.00 + VAT @ 20% = £576.20

A group buy would consist of 5+ people and the discount would be as
Follows:

10% up to £2500
15% up to £3000
20% over £4000

The order and payment would need to come through a single person, which would be myself. I will personally go and collect everything if we get enough interest and everything will be sorted and sent on. Postage is £10.00 on top.

You find me a courier who will send over 25kg worth of metal and insured for £500 for under a tenner then say am I having a laugh.

2% postage isn't too bad for valuable bits of kit delivered safely.

£10.00 postage on top, what a bloody cheek! I was going to say yes to this deal, but £10.00 postage, you're having a giraffe aint ya.

£10 sounds perfectly reasonable to me - I've seen more just to send a DVD from ebay!
