How Do I Replace The Battery In My Key Fob?

My alarm keeps going off and destroying the wintry peace of my street for no good reason. I have a replacement battery, but how the hell do I get the back off the fob to replace it? Have buckled a kitchen knife trying to do it so far!

3 button remote IIRC?

Use small flat blade screwdriver (or end of knife) in the recess on back of remote to prise the U shaped key holder off the remote. once thats done you will see two plastic clips which can come off by hand to seperate the two halfs of the remote.

What he said^^ Probably easier to use a small flat head like warrenpenalver said, but i've used small keys etc before when im in a rush. Very easy to do, only takes 30 seconds max.
