how to fit a strut brace

Can some one help me with my omp strut brace,its not a adjustable one,but its got 3 holes eather side and I was given 6 bolts that look like self taping, I would say drill though the body work and nut and bolt it on,is that how It Is done?

Not fitted one, but I'm sure you would need to mount it up and drill into the arches to fix. did the kit come with any nuts or washers? seems strange just to use self tappers into the metalwork

Well the bolts it came with looked like self tapers,they go to a pain at the end
