Hi all,
im Tom,
i am a sports car mechanic from bristol, ive worked on subaru most of my career but fords were my first and have allways stayed with me, from several mk 1 fiesta`s, xr4i, rs2000, xr2i, mk 1 focus rs and a dax rush with a 320bhp cosworth engine and many other blue ovals inbetween,
i currently work for a small dealer specialising in lotus, morgan and other british sports cars.
we run a 1.6 ford sigma engined morgan in a race series, and it can be expensive so i have bought myself a puma as its a excellent car and im making a fast road and track car out of it to try and prove to my boss you can have a road/track car without spending a fortune,
my advantage is i have a workshop at home and lots of spare parts from past and present projects to play with.
im hoping by signing up to your site some of you may be able to help me with compatibility issues im having by fitting higher spec parts from faster fords to make my project cost effective without spending loads on new calipers etc,
hope to speak and exchange info with like minded people,
cheers, Tom
