interimmant engine light

Would the engine management light come on if a clutch was going? My engine light comes on quite randomly, was fine after replacing air filter but has come on twice in three days.. any ideas?

It wouldn't come on if there was a problem with the clutch.Maybe its getting a duff signal from a sensor which is then clearing itself

First guess would be a dirty sensor somewhere.
Try getting a fault code when the light is on via dash diagnostics (unless you have a code reader), then you know what sensors to look at.

I wrote down every code on the dash diag' today going to try and figure them out now.

Did you give the MAF a clean while you were doing the air filter?
It was usually the culprit when my EML used to show.

it says 1-30 (what is no 17?) but I have 36 different codes then it repeats.

also how do i decipher these codes?

On the dash it says; none dtc.
does this mean there are no dtc codes to display?
would it say something like, p0100 dtc if there was an error with the maf ?
is there any way to decode the diagnostic checks (18-30)
for instance the last one is, 202 pe7 how do i fugre these out?

DTC none means no fault codes present
