I recently discovered a cute little accessory that I've tried on my Miata and on my Cougar and I really like it, so I thought I would share with this group.

These little tidbits allow you to close your door from the outside without touching the paint. Very handy for a freshly detailed car. They stick on with tape so no permanent damage, and they work like a charm. Very secure.
There are a couple sources on my side of the Atlantic. I don't know if any European sources have them or not but I would be willing to bet my first link probably ships internationally if not.

Here it is on my Cougar:
The Cougar door shape didn't have anywhere to mount it vertically that was high up so I mounted it diagonally, it still works fine.
Highly recommended. All my cars will get them from now on.
