Lower gearbox mount.

Is the lower/dog bone mount the same on all variations of puma as I only keep on finding ones listed for the 1400.

I`m only recalling this from a previous post. but
I believe there is a very slight difference (a mm or so)
But they do have different part numbers.

I bought a Febi Bilstein one (part #15527) for my 1.7 even though they only list one for the 1.4. It is pretty much identical as far as i can see. Although Ford list 3 part numbers for this item, i think it's just the rubber bush stiffness that is different. That may be wrong but either way the new one was way stiffer than the soggy old one i removed.

The pics below show the two side-by-side. New Febi one on the left. Interestingly it has a Ford badge in the casting that has been ground off by the manufacturer.

Tell me about it...only cost £27. Ford quoted £75 +VAT but now discontinued.
