After reading another thread, I notice, or haven't looked hard enough, but there seems to be very little dealer involvement with forums on Fords
I'm a Volvo man at heart, and so have grown up with forums where some dealers will act pro actively with enthusiasts, providing advice help and discounted parts mail order and deals on parts and labour at workshop, we also have one dealer who sponsors out trackday, and shuts workshop down for a saturday to public, and does very good deals, free inspections, code reading, advice etc for our annual meet.
I know Ford are totally different ethos as a brand to Volvo, and many Volvo purists will never forgive ford for what they believe they tried to do, and the damage they believe they did to the Volvo brand, so are dealers just out for themselves and sod the enthusiast market?
