MOT fail on parking brake

MOT fail on parking brake is this a big job to do by ya self
or how much would it cost for part and fitting?

you could try lifting the gator/surround up round your handbrake and adjusting the cable, its just a case of tightening a nut. after that its going to be a case of replacing the rear brake shoes. use the search function at the top of the page and im sufe theres a how to on that.

It could be brake shoes
or brake cylinders
or handbrake adjuster siezed
or handbrake cable stretched or snapped on one side

or a combination of the above

Labour is like a piece of string and parts are variable to depending on where you get them.

Its a fairly easy job and theres a how to guide iirc
