Hi, I've changed the geabox, and I have been left with this sensor/connector. Anybody know where it goes?http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums...ick look on their car, and see where it goes?
 
No idea but here's the image :grin:

Looks like that's the pin from inside an electrical plug. The white rubber bit looks like its the seal to keep the moisture out.
 
did it come whit the New gearbox? or was it there in the car before? loks like it might be the starter solenoid wire.. it folows the main battery cable too..
 
Hi, Cartman,
It was in the car before, and I've checked another gearbox. I cannot find a hole for such a wire. It runs in the same cable tidy/group as the positive lead for the battery. Also, that might explain why the starter motor does not turn over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be grateful if you could do a visual check, if you have not already done so. Thanks.
