Hi, I've recently changed my gearbox on a 1.7, and also the drivers airbag. Had to disconnect the battery, and on reconnecting, all the indicator lights come on and stay on,and the motor will not turn over at all (wipers, fan, etc work). Whats wrong? Also have forgotten where a little sensor goes - the wire comes off the cable to the positive lead of the battery, and its a little sliver column, about an inch long, with a white rubber collar. :? :? :?

The only cables that go from the live terminal directly go to the starter solenoid and the alternator from memory.

Hi, Here's a picture of the lead - would it stop the Puma from starting? [URL=http://s1285.photobucket.com/user/Salvatat/media/DSCF0415_zps39180400.jpg.html

Cheers

Can you trace it back to see where/what part of the loom it connects to?
That looks like a sensor connection to me.

your link didn't work so I've redone it :)

(I don't know where the sensor is from though, sorry) :-(
