Noticed the boot brake light is no longer working how do you gain access to it?

Hello and welcome. I don't have a boot brake light on mine but have you checked the contacts in the rim of the boot, they are 4 metal rectangles boxed together. If they are too dirty then the contact buttons in the boot lid won't be able to make contact properly and the power won't flow.
If that isn't the issue I'm sure someone else will be along shortly who knows how to get to the bulb!

Before you try anything, check that the bank of 4 contacts are clean and making good contact, as this is where the light gets it's earth from,then check the wires on the R/H boot strut, the live feed is carried through the boot strut ! Some aftermarket boot struts do not have electoral continuity, a quick check would be to join the top and bottom spade connectors with a short piece of cable to bypass the strut.
The high level brake light has if I remember correctly 4 X 501bulbs and it would be rare for them all to fall, access is by removing the plastic trim and you'll probably lose the spindle in the centre of the fixings that the boot string attach to.

That's what had to do when I replaced my boot struts - the new ones didn't have electrical continuity, so I had to join the top and bottom spade connectors with an insulated cable to get the boot brake light to work again.

Yes, the original offside strut was different to most struts in that it could carry a current internally. The Ford replacement o/s struts (when they used to supply them) were 3 times more expensive than n/s struts. Some people using (cheaper) pattern replacement ignored the wires and didn't notice that the centre brakelight stopped working and only realised the significance when it caused their car to fail the MOT.
Ford ceased supplying the specialised strut. When I replaced the strut I had to fit it with spade terminals to carry an external fly lead which I wound (coiled) along it's length to keep it tidy when boot closed as the strut was compressed.
It was a clever design by Ford, but also a pain in the rear end (sic).
