Hi all, I'm new to the puma world - only bought one 4 days ago, and hoped someone may be able to help out with an issue i have with the stereo...

I'm trying to take out the 6000cd RDS EON stereo in my S reg puma. at the moment i'm finding it impossible and it just wont budge, i bought the 'U' shaped pins but it wont move when i click them in position. my main question is, does this stereo have some sort of AUX port on the back to connect another source i.e. MP3 player?

if it doesnt i'll need to buy a new stereo with an aux port on.

and my last question is this...

the drivers door speaker has blown - it just farts and pops at me, so needs changing.

can i just take the surround off to get at it, or will the whole interior panel need to come off? i dont want to yank the little speaker cover off and break it if its not designed for that.

apologies if this is in the wrong thread or if its a bit of a noob question, but i'm getting this car sorted for someone and dont want to make it worse than it already is!!

connects 2 adaptor from ebay can give you aux input,or ipod input depending which 1 you buy,it connects into the rear of the unit via the cd changer port.

You need to remove the entire door trim to access the speakers. There will be a guide on here somewhere, but IIRC 3 screws and tug around the edges.

thanks FlashB.

talk about making it an easy job awkward lol!

thanks for the replies everyone, think i have all the info i need now on this one.

And on the plus side i got the stereo out, which was so easy after i found a tutorial on youtube!
