Just home and can't be bothered to write a long message ( and being lazy enough to just copy this from the PP post I just typed ), so just a quick thanks to everyone for making it a fun day.

Always good to see the usual people and also some new ones too:
PumaJay
Lucy
Carol
Bill
Matt
Oh and Peter and Yvonne's two lads who provided a lot of the entertainment for the day

Nice to be in a dry set of clothes now, but it was worth getting a bit soggy

Cheers :)

Just back ourselves, bit tired so straight to bed.

Big thanks to Ben and Jacko for leading us about and organising the day.

Good to see everyone again as well as a few new faces.

Photos tomorrow.

:eek:k:

We thoroughly enjoyed it and we raised some more money for Macmillan

The cake sale raised over £55.

Thanks to all.

The boys enjoyed being co-pilots and may well come along again.

Loved seeing the C5 : bloke was pedalling like a nutter!

the C5 was just before we got to the car park for the evening meal - it cut across lanes and turned off in the space of about 25 yards

Thanks to Ben and Jacko for organising yet another great Leicester meet

Was nice to catch up with everyone and also to meet some new faces.

Some nice locations and great roads, just a shame the weather wasn't a little more in our favour. But me and my car still had a great time.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a great day out :eek:k:

Ain't that a Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle ?

I used to have a Tamiya 'Wild One' which was the 'civilian' version of that model, with all the mods like the gold wheels, studded tyres, RS540VZ Technituned motor and fully ballraced

Have to say Ben, you look exceptionally stylish in this photo:

Looks like a good time was had by all, shame I missed it :-(

@bok

youv got a good eye!!!!

its a wild one! with fav bonnet (the wild one has better dampers)

bought it as a wreck after easter, rebuilt it with side racks (as per navy seals dpv) just to take beach bashing in newquay over the summer (awesome!!!!)

its now going to have a full rebuild to include sand scorcher front end (exact replica of vw beetle twist beams / torsion arms etc all in aluminium), custom chassis so the battery can sit lengthways making the chassis thinner & more realistic. sand scorcher gearbox (all aluminium) and custom made alloy rear suspension arms (need to ffind some vw beetle technical drwgs to base them on first). iv just found a 2nd hand machine gun (in australia; had to get up at 7am on a sun to win that!!!) & will build a whole load of weapons, rucksacks etc to go on it....
