Finaly to present my puma,and to start a project of it,becose i bougt it used and in pritty bad shape

this is when i bought her

After few days and a good long check-up,i found that the cam and auxilary belts are pretty much dead,and needed replacment

Ater that since that the front bumper was busted on lower side form some kind of inpact,and new bumper is hard to find here,and also expensive,i needed to use some other methods,and took the bumper down,and welded the plastic parts that are broke and then reinforce it with two component resin and some fiberglass net

Since I work with car elecronics,it came time to work on that! Since car when i bought it had only one key,and one alarm remote,i had to remove the alarm,becose it keep't turning on in the midle of the night,so i put aftermarket remote lock/unlock,and also on remote have trunk relase,and since puma have electronicly controled relese on trunk,it would be a shame NOT to use this option!

And also since i am a dealer of the Laser Jammer's,and after a few years on using it on early'er car,i had to put it on this,since I over years got used to drive beyond speed limits And here is how it looks(in lower grills)

and then came turn to audio-video system.... first i had to install cables for subwoofer and rear view camera,and also had to put camera cables out under the bumper

and after drylling holes in the bumper,wich doesn't hace much options for holes becose it is double layered i drilled the hole just above licence plate,and here how it looks ( back look )

And also had to cut a piece of licence plate frame,and also a part od Licence plate it self,but wouldnt advise that since it is illegal

and since i removed an OEM radio,had to buy a adaptor for single-din radio,and also cuted the original connectors,and replaced them with EURO just to avoid long cables behind radio.

Also had to rearange order of switches for rear glass heater,since now have an 2 extra switches

and all powered,left extra switch is to force radio to switch the rear view ( to use in driving,just for fun) ,when gearbox not in reverce,since the video on head unit is triggered when put in reverse,and the right extra switch is for Laser Interceptor (police laser jammer)

To do a little update! After all that my engine died,piston rod bearings started knockingafter dismatle-ing the engine her's what we sow

and it ripped the cranckshaft,and piston rod. so i couldnt find the 1.4 engine and had to settle with 1.25 for now,til i find the 1.4

Since I'm a smoker,i was boothered that my puma doesn't have a ashtray light,so instead i made that w8 light,like in audi's and vw's. I had to drill a small hole in my interior light and get another cable from fuse box to interior light! here is how it looks

and here is working

I also putted on it a trimmer resistor so i could change the light intensity from the LED.

Also updated a xennon HID lamps in headlights

Finaly snow stoped,and had a little time to try ma summer setup for tyres,and also try out my new rims,i bought very cheap brand new,but they are mede for Peugeot and the ET is bigger,and they look very wide

hehehe also found solution for cold days,when your hand sticks to the OEM gearknob

To do a liitle update..

I got hold of some silicone sealed LED's in a strip,so had and idea to make DayLight Runing Light with them!

This is the first idea,but also have idea to take a moluld from the holes where are they now,and make a mould where i can make complete "headlight" from transparent epoxy and put white LED's inside,so it would fit perfectli in those wents on bumper,idea is to make it almoust original

and also since weather heated up a little,menaged to make time to tint my windows..

Sunny days have come,it's time to work I found time to prepare my broken bumper for painting..

and also had my hopper key made for my alarm system

Today i bought a high flow air filter,and instaled it,but needed to be modified to house the Intake air temp sensor

I have a question about the xenon lights, have you changed both dipped and high beam bulbs or just the dipped beam ?

just dipped,becose i think there is no point to put them in high beams,becose you cant flash woth them,it will kill the ballasts and bulbs and it takes time to heat up properly...

i guess it makes sense, high beam is rarely used except on the open road and if i put xenon instead of regular high beam bulbs there wouldnt bee any diference between the high and dipped beam and the efect would be just cosmetic, anyway if I want xenon on the high beam I need two extra bulbs and ballasts, maybe ill get a discount for buying two sets of xenon kits . Hows in Croatia by the way, Pozdrav iz Makedonije

a little update

Since i got a loot of tools in my trunk,i got tired of the sub woofer in it,it takes a lot of space,an there isnt many
So i removed it and put 17cm bass speakers in the original boxes,and connected it to an amp

installed

I removed the car jack,and used its holes to make a mount for the amp

all instaled and testing
