I think that a dealer in Essex produced some of these "Specials".
As you're in Essex and if you have the Service Book showing the original dealer supplying the car, it may be worth calling them to see if they have any further information.

I don't have much history on the car as I brought it as a write-off just for the interior for my 97 puma. But front seats don't fit. Tried swapping runners but just not happening.

Err the early Pumas had a different floor pan to the 1999ish and onwards, unfortunately this is all I can remember right now; not whether you can retro-fit later into older. This might bump someone else though
