Replacement rocker cover seals and rubber bolt grommets.

Hi Puma pals,

I am replacing the rocker cover of my 2000 Ford Puma 1.7, reg X964 ELC.

The 4 x rubber grommets that act as washers on each of the rocker cover bolts are in bad condition, as are the two seals at the entry points on the rocker cover of the VCT and cam sensor. My local Ford dealer tells me these parts have all been discontinued. Does anybody know if there is anywhere I could source them?

It seems odd that Ford will sell me a new rocker cover but not the seals that go with it!

Sounds like you will have to improvise. Ensure the type of rubber/plastic is the same though.
