rev counter

hi all for some reason my rev counter has started playing up! some times it works fine but more often than not it dances about all over the rev range or it doesnt move at all!! has anyone got any ideas . :?

That's a weird one. SOunds as though either the sender unit is playing up from the gearbox, or there's a problem with your digital dash

ive got obd cables and hooked it up to my laptop but there are no faults showing up! guess ill just have to put up with it its not an issue really just annoying.

Unless it's the instrument cluster playing up...
