Hi,

I am searching of ways to stiffen/make more rigid the front suspension. Has anybody used these rod ends instead of ball joints on the wishbone? I think LMS has a similar solution that bolts on the wishbone. By using these I can also adjust the camber. I don't know how stiff they will be and their strength for road conditions (potholes etc).

Also for the same reason I am looking into these solid top mounts. I wander how crashy they will make the suspension.

Any thoughts?

Hi Siju
Forget the rose joints unless the car is for track use only. They are too harsh and wear out far too quickly on the road, standard Ford balljoints do the job quite well and last.

Thanks for the replies.

I have the lower strut brace which indeed makes quite a difference. One of the next steps is to get an upper one.

Regarding the ball joints I replaced the knackered OEM ones about two years ago (drilled the OEM ones and bolted aftermarket new on the OEM wishbones). But I found out that the N/S is torn so I have to change it again. As as solution I thought about the rose joints but if they are so harsh I 'll just stick to ball joints.

Also the top mounts are squeaking so I thought to replace them with the compbrake ones. I may give them a try.
