Searched though and there is plenty of talk about this, replacement with thicker metal etc.
My question is to the cause. Jst bought my first puma one arch only had a few spots, the other fell apart when i took the grinder to it. My plan is to clean up the good one and respray the bits needed, the nasty one im gona cut back to the good metal and replace that parts cut out with a chunk from a fiesta front wing i had, so not a huge problem.
Did a little reading and it appears the odd fabric wheel liners are to blame?
My plan is to underseal the hell outa the inside but would it be agood idea to do something about the liner to stop the problem coming back? Perhaps cut off a inch or so from the corner and coat the edge in paint or underseal to stop the water sitting there?
Any advice welcome.
