Well yesterday I headed northbound in the very early hours of the A.M after attending this breakfast meet last year and the mini not track worthy I returned and again not let down, well worth the drive upand glad I went...

Also, the Minis vs Beeltes meet was the same day and around 30 mile away from this at York Raceway so we went there for the afternoon... although was dissappointed at the lack of Minis and Beetles it was made up by the American Muscle, tatty fast ones and the wheelie Fire Truck down the strip...

lastly thought id share this, actually felt kind of sorry for the guy as he wasn't exactly booting it but just goes to show if you can't control your car, especially something as powerful as this spinning then... wey what a knob. he did this right in front of the police van aswell and was very lucky not to take anyone with him let alone the tree!!

Well, that's what happens when you show off in public.

No sympathy.

i have and i havent, as he wasn't particulary booting it

just has a car he cant control and pity it was right in front of the police. more importantly nee one was hurt

There's a 26 page long thread devoted to this on Pistonheads.

According to the passenger, it was all the police's fault for parking where they did.

Yep been reading through that...

it would be the polices fault...
tbh from being there it looked to be a variety of factors, including the salt on the road, the driver etc.. as far as the police are concerned they were parked far enough away from the junction to be seen and people to avoid them..

some of them comments have made me laugh.

man that must have been so embarrassing, how many people went over  i think if i was him i would have hidden under the dash till everyone got bored and moved on lol.
