As the title says, does the standard Puma CD player accept CD-RW?

Just one of my random thoughts for today as my aftermarket one is playing up and I might put my old Ford one back in whilst mine gets repaired.

My old 6006E used to play CDRs ok without a problem. I know CDRWs have a slightly different structure that some CD players can't read (needs a slightly stronger laser or something to read the deeper layer?) so could be a problem.

I believe it does, most of my albums that used to be in the car prior to my ipod adapter were all copies of the originals.

6000's and 6006's play crds and cd-rw usually but do expect problems later in its life due to the laser working harder

It's only going to be for a short while, so I don't think it's going to cause too many problems.

I just have very few bought CDs now as I use the usb port and a 2gb flash drive on my usual stereo, so will need to burn some CDs and would rather use CD-RW if I can.
