stereo wiring help please - NON puma. vw polo.

hi everyone.

wondered if someone that knows about car stereos could help me.

my mates just bought a vw polo - 96 n reg and someone has cut the wiring loom and it has no stereo in it.

what i want to know please is if anyone knows which wire should do what as i cant work it out.

these are the colours that are on the loom.

BIG BROWN CABLE =

BIG RED CABLE = ( PERMANENTLY LIVE 12 VOLT.)

SMALL RED CABLE =

SMALL RED AND BROWN = ( PERMANENTLY LIVE 12 VOLT).

MEDIUM RED AND BROWN =

SMALL BLUE AND GREY =

MEDIUM BLUE AND BROWN =

MEDIUM BLUE =


any help would be much appreciated as i can find wiring diagrams on-line but not with these colours grrr.

get a wiring loom from out of a scrapped polo,and reconnect them and then use a wiring adaptor to got iso connections k:

yeah thats one suggestion but all the cables are there just no connector so i can through crimp them all but if i dont find out ill go look for one
