On my Puma, i have a front lower strut brace OMP, i feel it's improve handling

but don't use this strut brace if your car is lowered ...

for the rear and upper strut brace, Wiechers sport made great product ...
a lot better than the OMP on the quality of steel and welding ...

+1
And it fits snuggly around the header tank

May I interject with what I suspect will be a stupid question..?

Do rear upper braces have to be welded on? I put my two rather large dogs in the back of my car on occasion so would like a rear brace I could remove when necessary.

No, it's not required to weld the strut brace

you can weld them if you want, it was done on the puma cup

but if you put large objects or dogs, does'not mount rear strut brace
or only a removable strut brace like the wiechers racingline ?

I reassure you, this is not the most useful strut brace on this car

I love it on my lowered car (-9 cm front). I prefer to have the strut bar on the street rather than the oil pan.

On the track, so it's great, i'm agree ...

but on road :?
Be careful whith the speed bumps (in France we are invaded), sidewalk, holes, road distorted ...

I saw some puma lowered who broke this strut brace ...

and a fiesta that has been damaged gearbox due to lowered spring+lower strut+speedbumps

I have front lower brace and suspension lowered 50mm on the front.

I am careful when I drive over speed bumps and I have not hit the brace on anything.
