I recently dropped in a new engine into my gf's puma.
Her car is an S , the new engine came from an X reg, got it all connected up with the exception of a temp sensor wire because the engine came with it's own loom and there wasn't a connector for it.
The gauge reads and stays stone cold.
Now I've removed the loom and swapped it out for her original one (which does have the original temp sensor wire)
Once connected and prior to firing up it sits the needle now sites in the red area ( despite the engine not even being run)
When she drives the temp gauge now moves but carries on going past the red area
So anyone know why the needle now sits at the opposite end of the gauge????
