Thought I'd crack along and fit the new wishbone today and wished I'd never started!
It began well enough, the pinch bolt came off sweetly (someone had used some copper-slip on this at some point). Then I went to the rear mounting bolt and that took most of the day...
Firstly, I couldn't shift it with a breaker bar, then I borrowed something a little meatier and the bolt head neatly rounded off. Trying drilling the top nut off and grinding it off with a dremmel but just made a massive mess of that. In the end, I had to hacksaw the bolt in between the bottom of the wishbone and the subframe. This means the bolt is still in there (as you can't extract from the top, the body is in the way) but will at least have a fighting chance of maneuvering the wishbone out once everything else is undone.
By this point, I'd had enough and I have a horrible feeling the front mounting bolts will probably go the same way so packed up for the day.
Throughly hacked off today. I think my Puma hates me as very little has gone smoothly so far!
